Have you ever finished a watercolor class wishing you felt confident enough to paint on your own at home?

This three-week series was created for students who are ready to move beyond simply following along and begin building lasting watercolor skills.

Rather than focusing on one finished painting, we'll spend three weeks learning how to see, build, and paint beautiful watercolor landscapes together. My hope is that you'll leave not only with paintings you're proud of, but with the confidence to continue painting long after the series is over.

If you've taken one of my beginner watercolor classes—or already have a basic understanding of watercolor—this series is the perfect next step.

Throughout this series, you'll learn:

  • How to simplify a landscape into manageable shapes and values
  • Techniques for painting mountains, meadows, skies, trees, and natural textures
  • How to create depth, atmosphere, and light in your paintings
  • Color mixing for natural landscapes
  • How to confidently build a complete landscape from start to finish
  • How to continue growing as a watercolor artist beyond the classroom

Our Three-Week Journey

🌄 Week One: Seeing the Landscape

Learn to observe landscapes like an artist as we explore value, color, atmosphere, and the foundations of painting mountains and skies.

🌲 Week Two: Building the Landscape

We'll add trees, texture, depth, and natural elements while learning how each piece works together to create a beautiful landscape.

🏔️ Week Three: Painting the Landscape

Bring everything together as you create a finished watercolor landscape with personalized coaching and encouragement along the way.

Between each class, you'll receive simple Studio Practice exercises designed to help you continue building confidence at home. These aren't assignments to complete perfectly—they're opportunities to keep your brush moving and your creativity growing.

What's Included

  • Three guided watercolor classes (2 hours each)
  • Personalized instruction and individual coaching throughout the series
  • All watercolor supplies provided during class
  • A Landscape Workbook filled with notes, reference pages, and Studio Practice exercises to continue using long after the series ends
  • A welcoming, encouraging community of fellow artists

Coffee, wine, and treats will be available for purchase during each class.

Whether your goal is to paint more confidently, better understand watercolor landscapes, or simply continue growing your skills, I'd love to have you join us.

I truly believe watercolor becomes even more enjoyable when you understand why you're doing what you're doing—not just how to copy a painting. My hope is that by the end of these three weeks, you'll leave feeling equipped and excited to continue painting beautiful landscapes on your own.

Cancellation & Transfer Policy

Because class sizes are intentionally small and supplies are prepared in advance, workshop registrations are non-refundable.

If you need to cancel 7 or more days before your workshop, you'll receive a credit to use toward a future watercolor class.

Cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop are not eligible for a class credit. If you're unable to attend, you're always welcome to transfer your registration to a friend at no additional charge.

Thank you for understanding and for helping me create the best possible experience for every student.

Please note: If I ever need to cancel a workshop due to illness, weather, or unforeseen circumstances, you'll have the option to receive a full refund or transfer your registration to another class.
